Flora Jane Southwick, 92, of Springfield, MO passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born on Wednesday, September 26, 1928 in Lebanon, MO to Hazel Vernon and Frank James.

Janie and Oral "Mack" Southwick were united in marriage on May 11, 1964. They were together for almost 44 years until his passing on March 8, 2008. She liked to roller-skate, travel, square dance, water ski, paint and play cards. Janie was so good at Bridge that she played in several national tournaments. She loves spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Magnolia Square for their years of dedicated service and care.

Janie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son Benny Don Miller and one grandson Jamie Miller.

She is survived by one grandson Nicholas Miller, one granddaughter Tammy Attaway, one daughter-in-law Deattra Johnson, three step-daughters Ann Hollis, Lourie Southwick and Paula Shore, her brother-in-law Jim Southwick, her best friend Shirley Gann and two great-grandchildren Brandy Downs and Andrew Attaway.
