Janice Grim Presley, age 70, of Strafford passed away Monday, February 14, 2022. She was born September 13, 1951 in Springfield to Cleo and Beulah (Wommack) Grim. She married Wayne Presley in 1989.  They were married for 10 years before he passed.

Janice graduated high school from Hillcrest here in Springfield. She started working at Missouri State University in 1978 and retired from there in 2015.  During that time she obtained her associates degree from MSU. She loved to sew and play piano.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents; and one older brother, Bonnie Lee Grim.

She is survived by a daughter, Jo Macdonnell (Jeremy); one grandson, Chase Miles who she absolutely adored; and by a niece and a nephew, Brian and Julie.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home in the chapel at Rivermonte in Springfield.

Inurnment will be at Bass Chapel Near Strafford at a later date.
