James Harold Stevens' Obituary
James Stevens, 62, of Springfield, MO passed away on January 12, 2013.
James was an outdoorsman by heart and loved to fish. He was a general laborer off and on and could always help you with your car tires. He enjoyed the occasional win on a lottery scratch off. James was extremely proud of his family and always enjoyed sharing stories and spending time with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Myrtle Stevens.
James is survived by sisters Janice Drew of Braymer, Mo, Joyce Smith of Springfield, Janetta Stevens of Springfield, Judy Goff of Texas and Janie Lue Stevens of Springfield and brother John Stevens of Springfield.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
