James R. Clark, age 92 of Springfield, Missouri, passed away May 2, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 19, 1927 in Alco, Arkansas to William and Amie Clark. He married the love of his life, Lynette, on December 12, 1947. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He also worked as a maintenance worker with the Springfield Public Schools until his retirement.

Mr. Clark is survived by a daughter and her husband, Anita and Richard Green of Ozark, Missouri, 2 granddaughters and their husbands, Stephanie and Brian Campbell of Rogers, Arkansas, Kayla and Alex Miller of Republic, Missouri, and 3 great grandchildren, Marlee Campbell, Hayes Clark Campbell, and Everly Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020 from Noon until 1:45 pm at Klingner Cope at White Chapel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Timbo Arkansas Cemetery Fund or the Wounded Warriors. Arrangements are under the direction of Klingner Cope at White Chapel Funeral Home.
