Jacqueline Kay Smith, 72, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024, in her
Springfield, MO home. Born on May 10, 1952, Jacqueline (Jackie), known for her caring
personality and good sense of humor, brought joy and efficiency to every aspect of her
life.

Jackie graduated from Parkview High School and spent many years at Sweetheart/Solo
Cup Company, where her fun and upbeat nature made her a beloved colleague.
Beyond her professional life, she was an avid reader and enthusiast of the outdoors,
enjoying golfing, fishing, boating, and camping. Jackie was also an avid dog lover,
sharing her home with her cherished dogs, Bentley and Sadie.

She is survived by a loving family, including her brothers Marvin and Greg Kneedler
and numerous nieces and nephews: Marissa, Keith, Ryan, Justin, Jack, Angela, Jim,
Bob, Troye, Chuck, Tammy, Tonja, Zanita and Cherri. Jackie was preceded in death by
her husband, Darrell Smith; son, Shane Smith; her parents, Willard and Anne Christine
Kneedler; brother-in-law, Jerry Smith; sister-in-law, Alma Jean Smith; nephews, Ronnie
and Aaron.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie's memory can be made to the ASPCA,
honoring her love for animals. Jackie's presence will be profoundly missed by all who
knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion.

A Graveside Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 11. 2024 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens  Cemetery: 5234 W. State Hwy EE. Springfield, Mo 65802.
