(Irva) Gay Teer was born June 14, 1934 in Archer City, Texas and passed away peacefully in her home August 2, 2016 in Bolivar MO. . She is proceeded in death by her husband Claude Teer, sister Jean Henry, mother Jewell Thomas, step-father Bill Thomas, father James McDonald. She is survived by her sister Edee Busche of Witchata Falls Texas, four children Claudette Chumley (Lonnie) of Aurora Colorado, Glenn Teer (Charlene) of Bolivar Missouri, Gary Teer of Bolivar Missouri and Janet Stokes (Donnie) of Elizabeth Colorado. Grandchildren Laura, Chris, Shanda, Autumn, Adam, Jenifer, Emily, Misty, Lee and Steven and several great grandchildren. Gay volunteered for many organization, her favorite was serving Angle of Hope in Witchata Falls Texas providing food and other needs to those with HIV. She loved animals and had three cats when she passed. Gay''s greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, she will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Klinger-Cope@ Rivermonte in Springfield, MO., Monday 8/8/16 (viewing 10 am and funeral services 11 am) followed by burial at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield MO.
