Ima Louise Johnstone, age 95 of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at her home. She was born to Barney M. and Pearl Glenn on February 21, 1925 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She married Paul Johnstone on September 9, 1945. She was an active member and volunteer at her church, National Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnstone was a homemaker who also enjoyed her volunteer work with the Grand Oaks Mission.

Mrs. Johnstone is survived by her son and his wife, Steve and Elizabeth Johnstone of Brighton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter, Paula Johnstone.

Memorial donations may be made to the Grand Oaks Mission 2854 Grand Street Springfield, Missouri 65802. Graveside funeral services will be private due to Covid 19 concerns, and will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Klingner Cope at White Chapel Funeral Home.
