Helen V. Heidrich, 85, of Springfield, MO, was ready to go see Jesus on November 16, 2018. She was born July 6, 1933 in Kansas City, MO to Nick and Crystal (Stevenson) Heidrich.

Helen was a huge race car fan, and was an active participant in the Powder Puff Derby at The Springfield Fair Grounds Raceway for many years. She also loved driving her Z-28 Camero. She retired from Dayco after 29 years. She was an animal lover, especially dogs. She was the loving companion to Delores Evans for the past 66 years.

Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers: Raymond, Nick and Richard and sisters: Mary Anderson and Ann Stotts.

Left to mourn her passing are her loving companion of 66 years, Delores Evans, special niece; Kay and husband Paul Hernandez of Yakima, WA, special nephew; Steve and wife Zoe Heidrich and their special service dog Smokey, who Helen loved dearly, special niece; Virginia (Betty) and husband Jerry Ebbs of Battlefield, MO, special niece; Brenda Ziegler and husband John and sister-in-law; Rosie Johnson as well as many great nieces, nephews; Mike, David and wife Linda, Patrick and Nick and wife Anna Heidrich and countless friends.

A Visitation is scheduled on Wednesday November 21 ^st from 8:30 – 9:30 am at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel (5234 W State Hwy EE). A Graveside service will take place in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at 10 am, officiated by Pastor Jenn Simmons of National Avenue Christian Church.
