Helen Marie Armstrong of Brookline, MO was born July 30, 1939 and departed this life October 31, 2012 in her home after a battle with cancer. She was 73 years 3 months and 1 day old at her time of passing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Buddy Ray Armstrong of Brookline; son, Ronnie Armstrong and wife Laveta of Springfield; daughters, Pam Kessler and husband Art of Battlefield, Paula Jamison of Springfield; granddaughter she and Buddy raised Ashley Nichole Wilson and her husband Kyle of Republic; 7 additional grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Rusty; 1 granddaughter, Shelli; a sister, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 2:00 till 4:00 pm at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Internment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens
