Hazel Mae Weber, 82, passed away in her home peacefully Sunday morning January 3, 2021. She was born on Friday, October 21, 1938 in Dallas, TX to Marcella Ruth Sawin and Oscar Eugene Clabaugh.
Hazel started her wonderful career with SW Bell as a telephone operator at the age of 17. She transferred to Springfield, MO in the late 60's and retired from AT&T after 30 years. Hazel married the love of her life Robert G. Weber on December 27, 1978. She was a beloved mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt and was loved by all. Hazel enjoyed going to flea markets, cross stitching, crafting and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, one loving son David Mikesell and one sister Ruth.
Hazel is survived by her two children Vikki Foust (husband Billy) and son Micheal Mikesell, eight grandkids Brittany, Joshua, David, Kati, Gabby, Shannon, Schaun and Matthew, seven great-grandsons, nine great-granddaughters and one great-great- granddaughter.
She was the light of our lives and loved by all. She will be missed dearly.
Hazel will lie in state from 8:30-12:30 PM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with graveside services to follow at 1 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.klingnerfuneralhome.com
