Hazel Tuhey, 79 of Nixa, was born on May 15, 1936 in Ocie, MO to Blanche (Jennings) and Ted Tannehill. She passed away on December 14, 2015.

She married Edward Tuhey on November 6, 1955 in Springfield, MO. She enjoyed gardening, growing vegetables and flowers. She loved to be outdoors, the wildlife and feeding the deer and turkey. She also loved to spend time with her family and the winters in South Texas with friends.

Hazel is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward; 2 sons, Randy (Maya) Tuhey and Steven (Donna) Tuhey; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sambo

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 4 till 6 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division). Service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
