Jack was born May 16, 1939 to Harold and Dorothy Flanagan. He passed away at the age of 72 on September 18, 2011 with his family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Fred Rosencrans and brother Charles. He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Betty; three children, Darlene Flanagan, Perry Flanagan and his wife Kim, Christy Wittmaier and her husband Jonathan; 5 grandchildren; two sisters Patricia DeGonia and her husband Ralphm Connie Rozoto and her husband Mickey.
Jack worked as an electrican for many years for Sechler Electric. He will be missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO. A funeral service will be held Friday at 2pm in the funeral home. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
