H. H. "Bud" Folkens' Obituary
H. H. "Bud" Folkens, 90, of Strafford, MO passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
Bud was an avid fisherman, stamp collector and was a caring friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hulda Bertha Postel & Herman Hamilton Folkens, Sr.; 3 sons Michael Craig Folkens, Jeffery Brian Folkens and Johnathan Hamilton Folkens and his sister Marie Morgan.
Bud is survived by his 2 daughters Cheryl Nichols and husband Larry Lewis of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Renee Roberts of Strafford, Missouri and one grandson Tyson Ian Roberts of Dalton, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO with graveside burial at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in honor of Bud Folkens to one of the following The Ozarks Food Harvest PO Box 5746 Springfield, MO 65801; Bible-A-Month by visiting www.americanbible.org or to a charity of your choice.
