Gregory Michael Gardner, known fondly as Greg, age 46, passed into eternal rest on Monday, April 8, 2024. Born on Monday June 13, 1977 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He brought great joy and light into the world with his presence.

A man of good cheer and boundless creativity, Greg enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Immersing himself deeply into his hobbies of drawing and coloring that dignified his artistic ability and expression and showcased his creative spirit. A devout fan of Star Wars and an enthusiast of cars, his interests were a testament to his spirited and imaginative character. Greg's kind-hearted nature and loving ways will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his beloved mother, Naioma Gardner, his devoted siblings, Robert Aven, Kelly Thomas, Jennifer Stephens, David Clark, and Marilynn Clark. His adored sister in law, Jana Aven and brother in law, Roderick Thomas. Loved by his cherished aunts Shirley Garrett, Pauline Cox, and Gail Dutton, and Nancy Sagerser, along with his uncle, David Sagerser. His memory will also be treasured by his adoring nieces, Morgan Kronholm, Elissa Aven, and Alexis Aven, as well as his nephews, Brandon Kronholm, Jaden Aven, Noah Eubanks, Malachi Eubanks, and Jaxon Williams, who all held a special place in his heart.

Preceding him in passing is his dear father, Clarence Gardner. His loving uncles, Herbert Sagerser, and Bernie Dutton. His adored grandparents, Glenn and Ruth Sagerser. Along with his cherished brother, Brian Clark. Greg leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.

In homage to a life so beautifully lived, a life that so seamlessly combined a light-heartedness spirit with profound depth, Greg's family and friends bid him a heartfelt farewell. May his soul find the same peace and contentment that he bestowed upon those around him during his cherished time on earth.

A Celebration of Life will be  held Friday, April 12, 2024 with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. in the Klingner Cope Family Funeral Home Rivermonte Chapel; 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO 65804. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Don Blansit officiating. Committal service will follow in the Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
