Grady Brian Garton, three days old of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2015. He was born to Brian Sherwood Garton and Devon Marie Garton on December 20, 2015.
Our sweet Grady struggled throughout the night and fought very, very hard. Our little man was a warrior and went to be with Jesus at 2:15 am on the 23rd. We have felt all of your overwhelming love and support and could not be more thankful for each one of you. Your prayers have been felt and appreciated more than you know and ask that you keep them coming our way. Grady brought so much joy to our lives and was one selfless little peanut. We hope that his selflessness and joy will be our goal in glorifying God in all we do.
Grady is survived by his parents; one brother, Cooper, two sisters, Lena and Hattie; Maternal Grandmother Kelly Doss and Maternal Great Grandmother Hazel Doss both of Chillicothe, Paternal Grandparents Steve and Mary Garton of Springfield, Paternal Great Grandparents, Shirley Garton Shipley and Wayne Garton of Republic; two Aunts, Meagan Scott of Chillicothe and Amanda Cole (Roye) of Rogersville; three Cousins Caleb, Jack, and Charlotte, as well as numerous friend and family.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Emmaus Church, 1700 S. Campbell Ave., with Pastor Clint Coyan officiating the service.
Memorial Donations may be made in Grady''s name at any Great Southern Bank starting Monday, December 28, 2015.
