Gracie A. Herron 74 of Springfield, MO was born on September 20, 1937 to Marvin and Lucille Oaks. She passed away on July 9, 2012.
She worked at the Smith-Glynn-Callaway Clinic and was a very compassionate and loving person.
Gracie is survived by her husband Jim; 6 children, Cathy Jarrett, Sheila Herron, Linda Herron, Janice Herron, Jimmy Herron Jr. and Mekalah Herron all from Springfield; 2 grandchildren, Melissa Herron-Hodge and Marvin Herron; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Oaks from Arkansas; sister, Mamie Thomas from Texas; many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
