Vera Grace Anderson, 92, of Springfield, MO passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026. She was born on Tuesday, May 15, 1934 in Willard, MO to Dorothy and Leonard Hull.

On August 31, 1952 Grace married Clarence "Andy" Anderson and together they built a life centered on family and faith. Those who knew them understood how much they loved each other. She was a kind, giving person and a beacon of unconditional love for her family & friends. Grace was an active member of Schweitzer United Methodist Church. She also loved to decorate cakes, playing cards, camping, traveling and researching her family's genealogy.

Grace is survived by her two children Ric Anderson (Judy) and Kay Anderson, three grandchildren Eric McClellan (Danielle), Andy Anderson (Brittany) and Amy Anderson, four great-grandchildren, Max McClellan, Delilah Sagsettler, Charlie Anderson and Dax Anderson and one brother Hank Anderson (Erica).

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two sisters Linda and Shirley.

Special thanks to Connie Anderson, Joyce Hobbs and their families who took special care of Grace the last few years, after Grace moved to Springhouse Village, a senior living facility.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 A.M. at the Schweitzer United Methodist Church on July 14, 2026 with funeral services to follow at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to St. Judes. Online condolences can be made at www.klingnerfuneralhome.com
