Gordon Edward Jones was born April 8, 1940 and passed away March 12, 2015 in his home at Strafford, MO.

Gordon was a man of Faith and loved his Church and Family. Gordon loved to fish and spending time with his family and also loved spending time on the farm in Strafford.

Gordon was preceded in death by his mother, Edith (Benson) Jones, his father, Walter Alonzo Jones and three brothers, Allen, Jerry and Ronald Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ellen Jones of the home, one brother, Richard Jones and wife Carol, Pierre, South Dakota, a sister, Evelyn Lite Knapp and husband Allen, Rapid City, South Dakota, three daughters and one son, Amy Kernel and husband Mark, Indianapolis, Indiana, Melissa Schmitz and husband Rafe, Ft. Madison, Iowa, Will Jones and wife Kara, Green Wood, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Caleb, Lexie, Kelsey and Bella of Iowa; Cassie, Sophia, Lincoln and Alexis of Indiana and several nieces,
