George Gene Crabtree, 72, of Springfield, MO, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Cox South.

George was born in Denver, CO on April 14, 1952. Born to Otillia Luna Crabtree and was adopted by Manuel Larkin Crabtree.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother and older brother, Leo.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Crabtree. His sister Anita. His daughter, Grace, (James) and son Gared (Barbara). His grandchildren: Laine, Ashley, Emily, Jessica (Matt), Alyssa, Travis, Brycen and Brennen and Autumn, Cassie, Ren, and Destiny. His great-grandchildren: Violet, Marcus, Michael, Mason, and Alaya Sky, Aeliana, Soo and Estelle.

George started out in building and trades then found employment with PG Walker. Later he worked in sales of cleaning supplies for hospitals, hotels and restaurants and eventually stating his own business, Monarch Supply. He also enjoyed working as a bellman/concierge at Wyndham Resorts. George was a man of strong faith and a passion for winning souls for the Lord. He enjoyed spending time with his friends in worship and fellowship. He went on several mission trips and many times walked the streets telling of God's love. He took any opportunity to share his faith. His favorite phrase was "It is well with my soul."

George's Celebration of Life will be held on March 1, 2025 at Seasons Hospice at 1831 W Melville Rd, Springfield, MO at 3pm
