George Lewis Bradley, age 91, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Springfield, MO. He was born to John Orin and Mary Potter Bradley on Monday, April 23, 1923, in Strafford, MO.

George served in the South Pacific Coast Artillery 96th BN during WWII and belonged to the American Legion Post 676. He was a Springfield Police officer for 4 years after the war and a Greyhound bus driver for 26 years before his retirement in 1975. He raised Hereford cattle for many years, lived most of his life in the Springfield area, and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents and siblings Lorene, Norma, Laura, Darrell, Bill and Clifford.

George is survived by his wife, Juanita Bradley of 58 years; son, George Scott Bradley and wife Merry; daughters, Becky Weiss and husband Conley and April Neal and husband Bobby; granddaughter, Amy Weiss Lasswell; grandsons, Brady Weiss, Davis Neal, Michael Bradley and Christopher Bradley; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters; sister, Frances Coldren; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 1-2 P.M., at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, March 26, 2015, in the chapel. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
