Gary G. Tate 65, of Bolivar Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was born on September 7, 1952 to Marvin E. and Alice E. (Greer) Tate in Springfield, Missouri.

After serving his country in the military, Gary worked for Coke and retired from Walmart in Bolivar.   He was very talented and enjoyed painting and drawing. He loved to fish and

worked on the family farm after retirement.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Lula Tate and E.D. "Doc" and Hazel Greer.

Survivors include his  parents, Marvin "Gene" and Alice Tate; one brother Jim Tate and his wife Tammi; one nephew, Isacc Tate and niece Missy Smith; and a host of family and friends.

A church service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana with a burial to follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
