Gary Eugene Moore, 52, reached heaven's gates on January 30th, 2012. Gary E. Moore was born January 21st, 1960, in Mount Vernon, MO to Jim Moore and Shirley Edwards. Gary was the eldest of seven children and is survived by his sisters Kim Prevallet and Melisa Walker-Crass and his brothers Terry Moore, Marty Moore, Charlie Walker, and Sean Tennis. During Gary's childhood, his family moved to several different states before settling in Springfield, Missouri, where Gary's ambition and incredible work ethic were instrumental in developing numerous business interests. After settling in Springfield, Gary fell in love with and married his wife of twenty-one years, Hilda Szabo-Moore. Gary will be remembered for his uncanny ability to capture a room with his stories, his quick sense of humor, and the love he showed to his family and friends. Gary was never afraid to take risks and had a special passion for motorcycles, including his most prized possession, his Harley-Davidson. Gary also enjoyed expanding his "toy" collection including baseball cards and memorabilia, serving as the Grillmaster at family cook-outs, and playing with his dogs, Jake, Jazzy, and Blue. In his fifty-two years, Gary touched countless lives and will be forever missed by all who knew him. We love you and will miss you every day until we see you again. Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6-8 pm, with services to be Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10am all being held at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave. Springfield, Mo.
