Garry Lee Lisenby, 75, of Springfield, MO passed away at his home on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was born on Saturday, February 3, 1946 in Springfield, MO to Bill and Esther (Steury) Lisenby.

Garry served his country proudly in the Army and liked to tell stories of his time in Holland. He was an avid bowler and proud to be a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Garry never met a stranger, greeted everyone with a smile and a handshake or hug and always had a toothpick in his mouth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Larry Lisenby and one sister Becky Lisenby.

Garry is survived by his two children Todd Lisenby and Stacye Perriman (husband Tim), eight nieces and nephews Pete, Cristal, Holly, Amber, Cassie, Hope, Jeremy and Jamie and their families.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804. Full military honors will be conducted at 10 AM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield, MO 65804.
