Garrett Jyrone Dye, 38, of Springfield, MO passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. He was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1983 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Cordelia Rose Jones and George Dye, Sr.

Garrett was a factory worker, with the biggest heart, who would give you everything possible. He loved art, sketching, fishing, growing plants, gardening, making jokes, playing and making people smile.

Garrett was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Willie D. Jones and Helen Mae Wells and his paternal grandparents Willie Bill Dye, Sr. and Ida Mae Warren.

He is survived by his parents, five children Garrett J. Dye, Jr., Jamarques Dye, Kamden Brown, Tyler Wheeler and Aisha Samira Dye, two brothers George Dye, Jr. and Joshua Dye, one Aunt Gennail Dye and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 11 AM on Friday, March 11, 2022. Memorial donations may be made to the family in the form of love offerings.
