Freeda Branning, 86, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021.
She was born on November 2, 1934 in Conway, Arkansas to Braxton and Ila (Adcock)
Hoover.
Freeda married Warren Branning on August 3, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas. She spent her
life in church and was a member of Wichita Gospel Assembly and Morning Star Church.
She also was a member of the Red Hat Society. Freeda enjoyed quilting, crocheting,
square dancing and bowling, Freeda was also a accomplished artist and loved history and eating her favorite Mexican food. She also loved
traveling and spent over 20 winters in Texas with Warren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; son, David Wayne Branning; brother, Herbert
Hoover; sister, Hazel Martin and grandson, Ronnie Branning.
Survivors include her husband Warren of 70 years; two children, Dale Branning (Kathy)
and Janice Millsap; grandchildren, William Branning, Randy (Danyelle) Branning and
Rusty Branning, Daniel Branning (Tiffany) and Skyler Branning, Darrin Millsap
(Cassie), Amy McIntyre (Paul) Emily Hicks (Keeton) and David Millsap; eighteen great
grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of
family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Klingner-
Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte (4500 S. Lone Pine Springfield, MO). Funeral
services will be on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will
take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
