Floyd G. Shadwell, 87 of Springfield, Missouri passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, October 3, 2022. He was born on January 24, 1935 in Springfield, Missouri to William and Delise (Hall) Shadwell.
Floyd was an avid, hunter, fisherman and gardener. He also loved bowling and joining his friends at the Stafford Senior Center for the country gospel nights. Floyd retired from Paul Mueller Company after 42 dedicated years. He was a member of Craig Hollow Church in Highlandville for over 28 years. Floyd was known to be a very kind and giving man. He would always donate to local organizations.
Preceding him in death is his parents; one son, Terry Shadwell; in-laws, Jess and Ruby Gastineau; one brother, Clyde Shadwell and a sister, Betty Wiseman.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Augusta Shadwell; two sons, Udell Hurtado (JoAnn) and Doug Browning (Tonya); granddaughter, Jodell Underwood (John); one great granddaughter, Brittany Underwood; one great grandson, Daniel Underwood and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October, 10, 2022 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel (5234 W. State Hwy EE Springfield, MO) with a graveside service to follow at Brookline Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Floyd's name to the Kitchen.
