Floyd "Jerry" Sailors, 71, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, Springfield, MO. He was born to Katherine Welker and Floyd Page Sailors, Sr., on Wednesday, September 15, 1943 in Jefferson City, MO.

Jerry married Diann Davenport on March 25, 2005, in Springfield, MO. He was a Funeral Home Assistant and the Cemetery Grounds Manager for the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home. He was the Charter Director for the Goldwing Touring Association. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #409 and the Campbell United Methodist Church. He enjoyed traveling, his motorcycle and the PBR. He loved his dog Miss Beasley and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Jerry is survived by his wife; daughter, Sherry Hansen (Mark); son, Coy Sailors (Sarah) of Kansas City, MO; stepdaughters, Christine Vaughn (Marty) of Ozark, MO and Suzie Gates (Kelly) of Springfield, MO; stepson Christopher Davenport (Jill) of Rockford, IL and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 26, 2015, from 1-2 P.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at the Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will follow at 2 P.M. in the Chapel.

Family is requesting memorial donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or the American Cancer Society both of Springfield, MO.
