Florence B. Williams passed away at 93 years old on January 1, 2024, in Springfield, MO.

Florence was born on May 29, 1930, in El Paso, TX to Frank Kaerwer and Lucy (Metzgar) Kaerwer. She
was united in marriage to Coy H. Williams in Las Cruces, NM. Florence was a beloved mother,
grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed watching old movies, reading mysteries, and playing Bridge
with the ladies. Florence loved walking and could walk faster than her grandchildren well into her 80's.
She was also known to make the best lemon meringue pie, and even won a best pie award in 1978 in Al
Bustan, Al Khobar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Florence is survived by her and Coy's five children, Frank Wood and wife, Rosemary of Kingsport, TN,
Blaine Williams of Springfield, MO, Cheri Cardine and husband, Charles, of Midland, VA, Debbie Ross of
Springfield, MO, and Lucy Williams of Corvallis, OR. Florence has 11 grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrea,
Shane, Elizabeth, David, Mary, Leslie, Lisa, Coy Eric, Maggie, and Matthew and 9 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Frances Foxx of El Paso, TX.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank; mother, Lucy and her loving husband, Coy.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 10am at  the Klinger-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte,
4500 S. Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO with Pastor Larry Ball  officiating. Burial will follow in the Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
