Faye Kathleen (Cotner) Moon, 91, a native of Springfield, MO passed away August 24, 2015. She was born January 10, 1924 in Salem, MO to Virgil and Bonza Cotner and moved to Springfield when she was 12 yrs old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Miner Moon in 1996 after 53 years of marriage; her parents; 2 brothers, Virgil H. and Kenneth Ray Cotner; 2 sisters, Marie Scotti and Beth Shaw and 1 niece, Tammy Cotner.

Faye is survived by 2 brothers, Vernon Carl Cotner and Jim W. Cotner both of Springfield; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews and many friends who were very special to her.

Her family was very important to her and she loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own children.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11 AM in Hazelwood Cemetery under the direction of Klingner-Cope at Midtown, 1635 N. Benton, Springfield, MO.
