Evelyn Lee (Skonberg) Davis, age 97, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri, where she had lived since 1992.

Evelyn was born in Osage City, Kansas on September 8, 1928 to Hazel L. and John Victor Skonberg.  She was the second of four daughters.  She graduated from Kansas State University in 1950 and taught blind and deaf elementary students in Wichita, Kansas.  In 1962, she married Dennis E. Davis, who preceded her in death.  Evelyn was a master gardener who loved spending time outdoors.

Evelyn is survived by three sons, Timothy of Springfield, MO, Chris, of Dayton, OH, and Gregory of Arlington, VA, a granddaughter, Ana Evelyn, of Slovenia, and a grandson, Benjamin, of Dayton, OH.  She is also survived by one sister, Joan Lieber, of Osage City, KS, numerous nieces and nephews, and several good friends.
