Eula Marie Murray, age 90, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed peacefully into the hands of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 25, 2013. Marie, born September 30, 1922, devoted her life to her family and her church, having served Boulevard, Grant Avenue and South Haven Baptist churches in various capacities. She loved to be around children, was an avid reader, created beautiful needlework and was known by her many friends for the warmth of her smile. In addition to caring for her family, she had a long and successful career with The Railway Express Agency and the Greene County Court system.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neva (Boettler) and Floyd Johnson and her beloved husband, Charles Ralph Murray. She is survived by her two sons, Charles and his wife Sandy of Bridgeton, MO and Greg and his wife Tori of Huntsville, AL and by her two sisters, Wilma Nance and Norma Jones, both of Springfield. She leaves behind three granddaughters, Erica Matelich and her husband Ted of Kalispell, MT, Jessica Skonieczny and her husband Steven of Huntsville, AL, and Sara Murray and her finance Dan Evans of Overland, MO and seven great grand-children.

Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO with services immediately following. Burial will at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
