Esther "Sis" Moore, 90 of Springfield, was born on March 29, 1924 in Springfield to Andrew and Mary Ferguson. She passed away on April 27, 2014.

She was a beloved aunt and sister who always spoke her mind and always had a come back. She was a long time employee at Hickory Hills Country Club and loved to sing with her great-great nieces and nephews.

Esther is survived by her sister, Mary Manier; niece, Tracy Taylor; great nieces, Donielle and Dashauna Taylor; great-great nieces, Jayden and Mila Taylor; great-great nephew, Dyson Taylor; cousins, Shirley (Jerry) Smothers, John (Doris) Tolliver, Jack Tolliver and Joseph Bedell; special family friends, Alice Jefferson and Brent Looney and a host of friends and family. She was preceded by her parents; brother, Herman Eugene Ferguson; sister, Marjorie Ferguson and nephew, Herman Bay Ferguson.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Rosen and staff, the staff from Amedysis Home Health and Springfield Rehabilitation Center who have taken such good care of her.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO.
