Erma Lee Wehr, 86, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in
Springfield, Missouri. A native of Springfield, she was born April 18, 1928 to James and Velma Bass, who preceded her in death.

Erma was a regular member of University Heights Baptist Church and a longtime volunteer at Mercy Hospital Gift Shop. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, needle point, reading books and taking pictures. Most of all, she loved her family and the time they were together.

Survivors include her children, Connie J. Johnson (John), James R. Wehr (Trish Bradford) and Patti L. Johnson (Mark D.); grandchildren, Shane Cates (Lisa), Brent Cates, Scott Wehr (Emily), Bronson Wehr (Kelli) Julie Pennell (Mark) and Shannon George; great-grandchildren, Cooper Cates, Brody Wehr, Landon Pennell, Parker Pennell, Lila Pennell, Lilly Pennell and Cyrus Rainey; one brother, Carol Bass (Belle) and a host of other family and many friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 5:00 till 7:00 pm. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield. Service will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 10:00 am, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
