Emily G. "Dee" Funk, 86, of Republic, Missouri, died on Friday, February 10, 2017. She was born on November 7, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Thomas and Geraldine (Gardner) Vicat. Dee and Raymond Funk were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 7, 1992. Raymond preceded Dee in death in 2011.

Dee was a fun-loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She cherished her family and never forgot a birthday or special event. She was the most loving and generous mother. Her mind was sharp up until her death.

Dee loved BINGO, gambling and dancing. She and her family loved spending time together and traveling to Florida and Texas or wherever else her family wanted to go.

Dee is survived by three children, Theresa Robson, Thomas Niblock (Michele) and Matt Niblock (Diane); 2 grandchildren, Jimmy Riccio (April) and Anthony Riccio; her brother, Thomas Vicat (Ruth), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dee was preceded in death by her first husband Frederick Wm. Niblock; her son Frederick Niblock; and 2 sisters, Doris Riley (Arthur) and Janis Devivo (Ralph).

A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date this Spring.
