Elwanda Nichols (Keeling) Nichols' Obituary
Elwanda "Kay" Nichols, 74 passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Christian Health Care in Republic. Kay was born October 1, 1939 in Strafford, MO to Elmer and Pauline (Wolfe) Keeling.
Kay loved to make up songs and sing all the time. Her hobby was involved all kinds of crafts and baking cookies. She also loved to eat at Village Inn and shop at Walmart. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Spokane, MO.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband James W. Nichols, 4 great-grandchildren and her sister, Nancy Hunter. She is survived b y her children: Laura Critten, Janie Plummer, James S. Nichols, Georgia Nichols, Lucy Phillips, Irene Burchfield, Gary Nichols; 25 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: Roberta Willis, Mary Weatherton, Gary Keeling and Linda Turner.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Klingner-
Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy. EE, Springfield, MO 65802.
