Elsie M. Petersen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away surrounded by family in Springfield, MO July 19, 2012 at the age of 72.
Elsie was born in Mt. Vernon, MO on March 15, 1940 to Herman and Ada Owens. She married her loving husband of 51 years Theodore (Ted) Petersen on Dec 9, 1960.
Elsie is survived by her husband, children, 8 grandchildren and numerous cousins. Visitation will be July 24, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Klinger-Cope at Rivermonte Chapel 4500 South Lone Pine, Springfield MO. The funeral service will be July 25, 2012 at 10 am at Rivermonte Chapel with Pastor Eddie Bumpers officiating and burial at Summit Cemetery in Mt. Vernon Mo.
