Elsie Willard Oliver, Springfield, MO, daughter of Arthur J.D. and Bessie Cunningham Willard, was born August 8, 1925, near Dora, Missouri and departed this life on July 6, 2025 in Nixa, MO. She moved with her family to West Plains, MO in 1943, where she met and married James Oliver and they moved to Springfield in 1962 with their two sons, Joseph and David Oliver.

Elsie became a Christian at age 10 and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. She worked as a bookkeeper/secretary for 17 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Wilma Hale.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Oliver and wife, Letty of San Antonio, TX, David Oliver and wife, Debra of Springfield, MO, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother, Glenn Willard of Springfield, MO and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held for family members.
