Elmo Hickey, 84, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2016. He was born on July 15, 1931 to Lula Elias and A.B. Hickey.
Elmo married his best friend Gloria Helen Avelar on June 1, 2002. He worked all his life in the Oil Fields, loved anything Irish, and collected old time cowboy memorabilia. He especially loved Roy Rodgers.
Elmo is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife Gloria, 3 sons, 1 daughter, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 from 1-2 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte. Services will immediately follow at 2pm. Internment will be in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
