Ellouise Moody, 80 of Springfield passed away on Saturday June 9, 2012 in Republic, MO. She was born August 9, 1931 in Eminence, MO to Clifford and Ollie (Burrus) Scrivener.
Ellouise was very active in her church, Westport Baptist. She loved to sing and play the piano. Ellouise also enjoyed stock car racing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bob of 28 years. Ellouise is survived by her daughter, Betsy Meese and her husband, Mike, grandchildren Nikki Watson, Zach Meese and wife Gabrielle, Asia Meese, Hannah Meese; great grandchildren Coleton Morgan and Bentlee Meese all of Republic; a sister Sue Spears and her husband Bill of Robinsonville, MS; sister-in-laws Rosetta Freeman and Pat Dennen and a host of family and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday June 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE with interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Wednesday June 13, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Family has requested memorial donations be made in Ellouise''s name to the American Cancer Society, 3322 S. Campbell, Springfield, MO 65807.
