Eldon Lee Cobb, 86, Springfield, MO went home to be with his heavenly Father on February 15, 2019. A man of many accomplishments, "Gomer" left his mark on all of those who knew him. He is a past Masters Mason Gate of the Temple and United #5, and fifty years as Master Mason Past Commander C Knights Templar. Eldon was a Past Director of Shrine Canters, Past Commander of Red Cross of Constantine, a 32 degree York Rite Mason 1968, a Master of the Royal Secret of the 32 degree of the Scottish Rite, Past Watchman of Sheppard's White Shrine, Past Advisor of True Kindred, Past Grand Advisor of True Kindred, and Past Supreme Advisor of True Kindred of the United States and Canada. He served in the United States Navy and the Korean War. He was a member of Central Christian Church, singing in the choir for thirty years. He would often sing at family weddings and whenever requested to sing at other events. He was always happy to perform. He is now singing in the heavenly choir. Eldon worked at the U.S. Medical Center and also served Greene County as a Bailiff.
He is preceded in death by his [parents and a grandson, Cody Taylor. Eldon is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley, their children; William Joseph of the home, Naomi Davis and husband Cecil, Christopher Lee and wife Diane, Douglas Ellis and wife Lisa, Sarah Taylor and husband Randy, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and countless friends.

A Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday February 19 th from 6-8 pm in the Chapel at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 20 th at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in Rivermonte memorial Gardens.
