Edna Baker, 87 of Springfield, was born on January 16, 1928 in Springfield to Mary V. Mott and Jeptha F. Rodgers. She passed away July 5, 2015.

She married the love of her life Robert William Baker on March 11, 1946 in the Elwood Assembly of God Church and was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed singing in the choir, westerns, gospel music and going to the lake with family.

Edna is preceded in death by her husband: Robert on March 24, 2012; parents; 2 brothers: Don and Bobby; 1 sister: Ruth Jones.

She is survived by 2 sons: Denver (Racquel) of Springfield and Jack (Tammy) of Billings; sister: Velma Jean Young of Springfield; special friend and caregiver: Fely Jeffries; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5 till 7 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division). Service will be on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
