Eddie Oran Keller, 84, of Nixa, MO passed away peacefully June 9, 2023 in Cox South Hospital after a long illness. He was born November 17, 1938 to Cleo and Ottalee Keller.

Eddie was united in marriage to Grace Carolyn Underwood on May 21, 1966. To this union came two children, David and Rebecca. He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963. Eddie played softball in the Army and his pitching skills carried over to many family softball games. It has been said, that his knuckle ball was practically unhittable. Eddie was employed for 31 years by Springfield City Utilities. He and Carolyn mowed numerous yards after work and even continued into their retirement years. This was just one of the many things they did together and you seldom saw them apart. Eddie's sense of humor constantly kept everyone entertained. He taught his granddaughters several poems, jingles and card games. These memories are things his family and friends will always treasure.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn of 49 years; brother, James and sister in law Peggy; sister, Linda Stegner and brother in law Kiney; and son in law, Bruce Pritchert.

He is survived by his brother, Rick and sister in law Shirley, Rogersville; son, David and daughter in law Leandra, Nixa; daughter, Rebecca, Springfield. Four granddaughters, Hannah, Abigail and husband Blake, Alexis and Holly; many nieces, nephews and friends.
