Earlene Ruth Jones, 90, of Halfway, MO passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Georgetown, TX with family by her side. She was born on Friday, September 25, 1931 in Carthage, MO to Jess Sheridan Foster and Rosa Susan Lawrence.

Earlene married the love of her life Floyd J. Jones in 1951 and together they shared 64 wonderful years until his passing in 2015. She and Floyd were founding members of the Fair Grove Church of Christ. Earlene worked as a Homemaker and Home Health Caretaker. She was dedicated to her family and her faith and always carried a song in her heart.

Earlene was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents and four siblings Charlie Vaughan, Larry Vaughan, Pat Foster Dolis and Jackie Dudley.

She is survived by her five children Connie Jenkins (husband Michael), Diane Charlton, Gaylen Jones (wife Dedra), Keith Jones (wife Jeanine) and Amy Hammoudi, six siblings Janice Letterman, Marvin Vaughan, Phillis Irvine, Debbie King, Pam Foster and Mike Foster, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 9 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2022. An 11 AM graveside service will be conducted at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
