Dwight Edward Taylor, 67, of Springfield, MO passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013.

Dwight ventured into the working world where he worked for Quality Tailoring Garment Factory. He attended Missouri school for the deaf in Fulton, MO where he played football and graduated from in 1963. He loved to watch all sports and was a definite fan of the St Louis Cardinals. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Monore and Hazel Mae (Coker) Taylor; brother Johnny W. Taylor and a nephew Gregory Wayne Taylor.

Dwight is survived by his brother Ross L. Taylor and wife Vivian of Elkland, MO; sisters Patsy Miller and Donna Jameson and husband Gary both of Republic, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral home at Rivermonte Chapel 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO with services to be on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Dan McCabe officiating, burial to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
