Dorthy D. (Eaton) Frazier, 84, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2011, at the Mercy Villa Care Center. She was born and raised in the Pea Ridge community near Mansfield, the daughter of William H. (Bill) and Mary Ellen (Martin) Eaton. Dorthy graduated from Mansfield High School.
Dorthy was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Frazier. She is survived by her son, Jim, and his partner Marcelo Luna; her brothers, Ellis and Emmett Eaton; and special friends, Lisa Buckler, Larry Skouby and Jackie Tekotte.
A service will be held Wednesday, October 5, at 10 AM at the Springfield National Cemetery, 1702 Seminole.
Family have requested that memorial donations be made in Dorthy''s name to either the Church of the Transfiguration, 215 N. Wall St., Mountain Grove, MO 65711, or to a veteran''s organization of your choice.
