Dorothy Gemeinhardt, 87, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 in Springfield. She was born to William and Alma (Goeller) Meister on Dec. 4, 1926 in Jefferson City, MO.

Dorothy enjoyed square dancing, going to the lake, water skiing, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband Virgil; daughter, Donna K. Bryan; 2 brothers, Cletus and LeRoy and sister, Florence.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne (Tami) Gemeinhardt; 2 grandsons, Jared (Stephanie) Gemeinhardt and Christian (Helena) Bryan; 1 great-granddaughter, Adriana and a host of family and friends..

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be at 11 AM Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 in the chapel. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
