Dorothy Jeanne MacMillan, 92, of Springfield, MO passed away peacefully at her home on February 25, 2019. She was born July 22, 1926 in Bement, Illinois to Eldon and Julia Oyler.

Dot married Cyrus Clark in 1945, he passed away in 1946. She went on to marry C.A. "Bud" MacMillan and shared fifty two wonderful years, until his passing in 2000. To this union they were blessed with three children, Charles, Michael and Patrick. Dot worked as an executive secretary to the CEO of Consolidated Flavoring Company for approximately forty years. She loved her family, all sports but especially the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved dancing and listening to Big Band Music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Eldon Oyler, her first husband Cyrus Clark, and her second husband C.A. Bud MacMillan. Left to mourn her passing are her children; Charles "Skip" and wife Mary, Michael and wife Dawn, and Patrick and wife Lisa, grandchildren; Hannah, Michael, Jason, Heather, Brian, Andrew and Elle, great grandchildren; Malakai, Emmy, Lucy, Ansleigh, Tristan, Lincoln and Isla, and one great great-granchchild, Asher, as well as in-laws; the Duncan Miller family.

Dot's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Regional Hospice nurses and aides for all the compassionate care their mother received. The staff was instrumental in allowing Dot to remain in her home, living out her final days with dignity and peace.

Family will be having a Private Memorial Service at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Dot's name to Regional Hospice 3405 West Mt. Vernon Suite #100, Springfield, MO 65802.
