Dorris Moore, 83, of Aurora, MO, passed away on May 28, 2018 after a lengthy decline in her health. She was born November 28, 1934 in Broken Arrow, OK to Noel and Orlean (Shakelford) Forester.

She married Melvin Moore in 1952 and to this union they were blessed with 3 children, James, Cheryl and Karen.  Doe was a homemaker, and she did it well. There was not much she wouldn't do. She would milk the cows, feed the chickens and even slop the hogs. If it needed to be done, Doe would be there to do it. She liked to spend time gardening and canning, she loved quilting, dancing and could often be found standing around the piano singing with her sisters and brother. But above all, she loved her kids, her family and God. Doe could be pretty ornery at times, and didn't mind telling just how it was.

Doe was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Kenneth and Melvin and a grandson, Chuck.

Left to mourn her passing is her children; James and wife Shirley of Marionville, Cheryl Baker of Springfield and Karen Jo Allen also of Springfield; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; 3 sisters, Louise, Mildred and Ann as well as one brother Leon and a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends.
