Doris (McMillen) Mink, 91, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Cox South Medical Center. Doris was the daughter of Thomas McMillen and Della (Gott) McMillen. Doris was born in Niangua, MO in 1922.

She was one of two daughters born to Thomas and Della. Doris graduated from Central High School in Springfield, She was a jewelry consultant and salesperson for Heer''s Department Store for 30 years. Doris married Ronald V. Mink on May 11, 1941. She enjoyed traveling, being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan,

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ronald V. Mink; her sister Nadine Thies; and infant child Annette. Survivors include her son Ron Mink of Springfield; granddaughter Jessica Nelson (Andrew) of Great Bend, KS; grandson Det. Grant Mink (Aubrey) of Topeka, KS; great granddaughters Emilee and Victoria Nelson and Scarlet and Ivy Mink and numerous extended family members.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Doris to the Springfield Chapter of Veteran of Foreign Wars, in care of the funeral home. Personal condolences may be left at the funeral home.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 4-6 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO 65804 with service to be Monday, July 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. burial to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
