Doris Teresa Brooke, 83, of Springfield, MO. passed away on November 5, 2012. She was born April 17, 1929 in New Hampton, NJ.

Doris Teresa was one of six children born to the late John E. Bibinger, Sr. and Teresa Glaser Bibinger. Her father died on July 16, 1958 and her mother died on April 22, 1970.

Doris graduated with honors, from New Jersey High School in Hampton, class of 1948. A proud member of the Glee Club and Library Club. She took voice lessons and also sang soprano.

In August of 1952 she married the late Joseph R. Vogel and moved to Milwaukee, WI. She retired from Mitchell Aero after 30 years as Full Charge Bookkeeper. In July 1966 she later married the late Leo W. Brooke.

Doris and Leo moved to Springfield, MO in 1969. Where Doris was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 28 years Leo W. Brooke who passed on August 15, 1994, her oldest brother Walter Bibinger who passed in the U.S. Army in July of 1944 and her brother John E. Bibinger Jr. who passed in Kansas City, MO in September of 2007.

Doris is survived by her brother Joseph (Trudy) Bibinger of Pennsylvania; sisters Justina (Grover) Melligan of Ohio and Rita VanEeckhoven; twin step daughters of New Jersey; one step son in Missouri and several grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Rivermonte Mausoleum.
